ACCESSORIES

Tricot accessories are the pieces you reach for without thinking. The hat and balaclava for winter, the scarf tied quickly, the bandana that shifts a silhouette. In cashmere or cashmere and wool, made in the same Venetian mill as the rest of the range. The same materials, the same care, a format that works with everything else.

How do you remove a stain?

It depends on the nature of the stain. Coffee, ink, red wine: each stain calls for its own method. See our full guide on the Care page.

What is recycled cashmere?

Regenerated cashmere from two sources: production surplus (never-worn fibers, intact quality) and end-of-life cashmere garments collected and fiber-by-fiber disentangled, sorted by quality and natural color. These fibers are combined with 35% virgin cashmere to ensure yarn regularity. The result: the same properties as new cashmere, produced with a lighter use of virgin resources.

Does mulesing-free wool itch?

No. The wool used at Tricot is a fine wool, grade 140’s. This fiber fineness allows it to be worn against the skin without irritation. The recycled cashmere it contains further enhances the softness to the touch.

What is GRS certification?

The Global Recycled Standard is an independent certification that guarantees the traceability of recycled materials from their source to the finished product. At Tricot, it certifies the mulesing-free wool used in the structured range (worker jacket, cable cardigan, balaclava). It is an audited, renewed verification.

Is dry cleaning recommended?

No. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Cashmere needs water to regain its softness. Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold water.

How to remove pilling?

With a fabric shaver, passed lightly over the knit without pressing. Pilling lessens after the first washes, as the short fibers settle. Cashmere is a living fiber.
