The Tricot spirit
Tricot was founded in Paris in 2019 by Rémi de Laquintane, photographer and designer, out of a simple desire to create exceptional cashmere sweaters.
Knitted in Italy from recycled cashmere, carried by the know-how of Venetian craftspeople, our styles are designed to embody the spirit of Paris and those who live there. Minimal, without ornament, they draw an easy, nonchalant allure — a discreet elegance, unisex, made to last.

These decisions cost more, take more time, and limit room to maneuver. They define Tricot. Since 2019, they have held. They have been confirmed by Wallpaper*, Le Figaro, New York Magazine. And by customers who have worn their pieces for several years and return.

MISSION
Establishing recycled cashmere as a new premium category. True cashmere, produced differently.
Tricot is an independent house, conceived in Paris, made in a century-old Venetian manufacture. In limited runs, because a hand-made sweater is produced outside mass series.
We aim to do better, and for pieces to last long enough that the trade-off is clear: fewer sweaters, better ones, that stay.
OUR
CONVICTION
A well-made garment lasts. By construction. Recycled cashmere is an answer. 65 % recycled fibers for the properties of new cashmere, produced with fewer resources.
Our cuts are unisex: a well-cut garment adapts to a silhouette. Every sweater ships with its darning thread.
ORIGIN OF OUR PRODUCTS
Our cashmere follows a short, fully traceable chain. Virgin fiber comes from Mongolia. In Italy, it joins recycled fibers, sorted to keep the strongest.
The yarn is spun in Florence, then knitted in Venice, in a century-old family manufacture. Each stage has a place, a workshop, a gesture. The whole is certified GRS 4.0, a standard audited end to end.
MATERIALS
COLORS
Recycled cashmere, superior 140's wool: each composition has its own logic, season, and use. Colors follow the same standard — tones built to last in a wardrobe. Material and shade thought together, produced in controlled quantities, renewed each season.
