The ultra-fine crew neck

the summer companion

A lightweight and ultra-fine cashmere, composed of 50% recycled fibers and 50% mulesing-free wool. An innovative and delicate material, with an airy softness, designed to stand the test of time with elegance.

THE 70/30 SWEATER, MEN

Our men’s wool and cashmere sweater collection is knit from 70% superior 140’s mulesing-free wool and 30% recycled cashmere. 140’s wool is among the finest available: strong, light, treated without mulesing. Cashmere brings softness at the touch. A composition designed for mid-range temperatures: light in hand — it holds its shape with wear.

Is the winter sweater size the same as the lightweight cashmere size?

Yes. The size chart is identical across the entire range. If you wear an M in a cashmere crewneck, you wear an M in lightweight cashmere. Check the size guide on each product page for exact measurements.

Is dry cleaning recommended?

No. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Cashmere needs water to regain its softness. Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold water.

How to remove pilling?

With a fabric shaver, passed lightly over the knit without pressing. Pilling lessens after the first washes, as the short fibers settle. Cashmere is a living fiber.

Can you wear cashmere directly against the skin?

Yes. Tricot cashmere is fine enough to be worn directly against the skin with comfort. Pieces in 140’s mulesing-free wool are too: the fineness of the yarn avoids irritation, including on sensitive skin.

Are the men's and women's cuts the same?

Yes. All Tricot pieces are unisex by design: the same cut and the same size chart for men and women. Site navigation is organized by men/women to make shopping easier while the pieces remain the same.

Is recycled cashmere as soft as virgin cashmere?

Yes. The regeneration process fully preserves cashmere’s properties: second-skin softness, lightness, thermal regulation. What changes is the origin of the fibers. Their properties remain the same.
