THE MEN'S 90/10 SWEATER

Our men’s wool pieces collection is knit from 90% mulesing-free wool certified GRS 4.0 and 10% cashmere. A fiber traced from flock to Venetian mill, certified for traceability and animal welfare. Wool brings density and structural hold. Cashmere softens the touch. A material built to last — it withstands wear and can be repaired.

What is the difference between the winter sweater and the lightweight cashmere sweater?

The winter sweater is 100% cashmere (65% recycled, 35% virgin): enveloping, designed for the heart of winter. Lightweight cashmere is 30% recycled cashmere and 70% superior 140’s mulesing-free wool: airier, more resistant to intensive wear, designed for mid-seasons and mild temperatures. The two complement each other.

Is dry cleaning recommended?

No. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Cashmere needs water to regain its softness. Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold water.

Comment choisir sa taille ?

The cut is boxy and unisex. If you are between two sizes: the smaller size gives a more structured fall, the larger size more ease. If you are tall, size up. Both options work depending on the silhouette you want.

Are the men's and women's cuts the same?

Yes. All Tricot pieces are unisex by design: the same cut and the same size chart for men and women. Site navigation is organized by men/women to make shopping easier while the pieces remain the same.

What is GRS certification?

The Global Recycled Standard is an independent certification that guarantees the traceability of recycled materials from their source to the finished product. At Tricot, it certifies the mulesing-free wool used in the structured range (worker jacket, cable cardigan, balaclava). It is an audited, renewed verification.

Does mulesing-free wool itch?

No. The wool used at Tricot is a fine wool, grade 140’s. This fiber fineness allows it to be worn against the skin without irritation. The recycled cashmere it contains further enhances the softness to the touch.
